Family Music Festival
Fall 2019

Date TBA, Fall 2019 -- AYS Family Music Festival

A Place Called Home, 2830 S Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90011

AYS is partnering with South LA community center, A Place Called Home, to bring classical music to new places and first-time audiences. The festival will feature small AYS ensembles performing classical and contemporary chamber music, along with fun arrangements of popular songs, and original works by our orchestra members. This day of music will also include performances by local instrumental musicians outside of AYS, coming from a variety of musical backgrounds. Arts & crafts and an instrument petting zoo make this a can’t-miss event for families and kids who want to learn more about classical music!
