A Note of Farewell from Alice Dutton

A Note of Farewell from Alice Dutton

If you don’t know me, I’m the AYS Director of Community Engagement. When I joined the staff in 2011, it was my first full-time job after college. I can’t imagine a better place to have found myself. These eight years have felt like a lifetime – I’ve learned so much! And through AYS, I’ve made friendships I’ll treasure forever. I’m grateful for everything this organization has meant to me, and all it will continue to mean for this community. Working with all of you has made this job a privilege and a pleasure.

Hard as it is to step away, the time has come for me to move on to new challenges. Next week, I’m wrapping-up my tenure at AYS and starting a new position as Director of Development at Antaeus Theatre. Of course, you’re more than welcome to come see me there! And I promise not to be a stranger; I’m looking forward to coming back for AYS concerts and finally sitting down to listen for once!

For now, you can still reach me at my AYS email, but for future questions, the rest of the AYS staff is ready and waiting help you. Feel free to reach out to Tara Aesquivel, Executive Director; Isabel Thiroux, Director of Orchestra Operations; Mia McNeil, Development Associate, or Rich Johnson, Operations Specialist.

Thank you all for being part of this amazing community. You mean the world to me!

And finally, because I love nothing more than making a collage, I leave you with photographic evidence of eight unforgettable years!
