This concert will be preceded by the “Shakespeare Dinner”, from 5-7pm at Kendall’s Brasserie and Bar. This intimate gathering in the Kendall’s private dining room provides an opportunity for supporters and patrons to enjoy a leisurely dining experience before this extraordinary performance, presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Disney Hall.

Concert tickets, and Dinner packages are on sale now! Click here to order, or call us at (310) 470 – 2332. (Click here for directions to Kendall’s)

Inspired by Shakespeare, the program includes a world premiere by Icelandic composer Daníel Bjarnason, whose work with orchestras and artists such as Sigur Rós bridges the gap between classical and contemporary music.

In preparation for the January 29th concert, AYS Executive Director Janneke Straub sat down with soloist Ronald Leonard to discuss his career, and his advice for young musicians today. The text of that interview can be found here.
